Looking to the future: the Dayton Arcade is welcoming new tenants

DAYTON, Ohio - The biggest gem in the gem city is slowly coming back to life. Nearly two decades later, Dayton city manager, Shelley Dickstein, said a financial closing on the Dayton Arcade is coming.
“It’s a really complex project,” said Dickstein. “When you walk into that rotunda, there’s a reason people don’t build buildings like that anymore. They are incredibly expensive to operate and maintain.”
A path forward is now laid for what legislative actions city commissioners need to take so developers can access financial tools.
