Montgomery County launches CARES Act grants for local nonprofits

On July 30, Montgomery County launched a new $10 million grant program targeted at helping local nonprofit organizations recover during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This pandemic has increased demand for many services provided by our local nonprofits, such as emergency food services, mental health services, housing and more,” said Judy Dodge, Montgomery County Commission President. “Nonprofits provide critical services to our citizens, and we want to make sure they have appropriate funding to help with the long-term recovery of our community.”
