Spectrum Brands, producer of brand names including Armor All, STP, and A/C Pro, built a 570,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility, and combined their research and development to reduce their overall distribution network costs and get to their customers more quickly.

 

Based in Canada, Hematite is a full-service manufacturer of recycled plastic products for managing acoustics, air flow, and water deflection on  vehicles. Their $18 million U.S. headquarters is under construction in Montgomery County, Ohio.

 

Treble One is an aerospace consulting company that has chosen to grow their business in Montgomery County, Ohio because of location, cost effectiveness, and access to the Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

PSA Airlines
PSA Airlines, now a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways, merged with American Airlines in 2013. The airline operates an all-jet fleet and is considered the fastest growing regional carrier under the American Eagle brand, with 3,000 employees operating almost 700 daily flights to nearly 90 destinations.

Spectrum Brands
In December, 2015, Montgomery County (Ohio) began work with Spectrum Brands Global Auto Care on plans to build a 570,000 sq. ft. distribution and manufacturing operation for an auto care products business on a 39-acre site at the Dayton International Airport. The facility opened in early 2017 and will employ approximately 350 personnel.

WilmerHale
WilmerHale contacted the State of Ohio to locate a new 40,000 sq. ft. facility for 200 full-time employees with an investment of $3.5 million to $4 million for site acquisition and capital improvements. The project quickly became a textbook example of teamwork between Montgomery County Development Services, the Dayton Development Coalition, and other local partners.

Fuyao Glass America
The collective eforts of Montgomery County, the State of Ohio, and local economic development organizations assisted Fuyao executives by providing support at every level of the initiative, with special focus on helping Fuyao attract and train a skilled workforce. The company employs more than 2,000 workers, making Fuyao's Moraine facility the largest automotive glass production facility in the world.

Simlat Ltd.
Simlat Ltd., located in Israel, is a leading provider of next generation software training solutions for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). Montgomery County, through the Dayton Region-Israel Trade Alliance (DRITA) and Sinclair College, helped Simlat enter the U.S. market and establish necessary business relationships.
