PUBLIC NOTICE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY IS CONSIDERING THE ADOPTION OF REVISED FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION REGULATIONS
Montgomery County will hold two (2) public hearings to receive comments from citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties on the adoption of revised Flood Damage Prevention Regulations. The Regulations apply to all areas of special flood hazard within the jurisdiction of Montgomery County. The adoption of the revisions is a prerequisite to continued inclusion of those lands in the Federal Emergency Management Agency Flood Insurance Program. The revisions will be discussed during the hearing. The current Flood Damage Prevention Regulations, and the proposed revisions are available for public viewing at the Community & Economic Development Department, 10th Floor, 451 W. 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422, during regular business hours, and may be viewed remotely at www.selectmcohio.com.
The hearings will take place on September 13, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. and September 27, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
