17 Sep 2020

The economic prosperity of any community is powered by the efforts of forward-thinking entrepreneurs who present ideas both large and small. In Montgomery County, our small business community is empowered through initiatives such as the annual TechStars Startup Week Dayton

This year’s conference, beginning Monday, September 21, will gather Montgomery County’s bright, determined entrepreneurs and small business owners for a virtual, weeklong event. Host TechStars will offer a collaborative conference, providing a free, community-focused experience for anyone interested — whether you’re a seasoned professional or looking to jumpstart your own business.

Each day of the conference brings new networking opportunities and knowledge sharing from local and regional experts. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to learn how to succeed in developing and promoting their new endeavor, they’ll also have the chance to pitch their ideas in hopes of securing recognition and a cash prize. This annual event, known as Startup Week Early Risers Pitch Competition, will take place on Tuesday, September 22.

Speakers participating in this year’s conference will share insights and current trends from industries such as health and beauty, food and beverage, manufacturing and more. These informative breakout sessions will run Wednesday through Friday, and conference goers can actively choose which sessions they’d like to attend.
