Self-driving cars coming to Ohio

Self-driving cars could be taking to Ohio roads in the next month, WVXU reports.

The Buckeye State has been marketing itself as a testing ground for self-driving car manufacturers and legislation is in the works to bring the vehicles in soon.

Executive director of the Ohio Turnpike Randy Cole said companies have already done preliminary mapping in Central and Northwest Ohio. More mapping is planned for the Ohio Turnpike and State Route 33 between Columbus and Marysville.
