Upper Valley Career Center has a strong tradition of excellence and innovation in career technical education. Currently 40% of UVCC HS graduates go on to Post Secondary Education or continue their education through an apprenticeship. Adult students including those from the School of Practical Nursing are pursuing their dream of a better career and greater career potential.
Satellite programs including STEM focused Pre Engineering, Career Based Intervention, Family and Consumer Sciences, Computer Information Technologies and Ag serve over 3,000 junior and senior high school students each year.
Full-time certificate programs offered through the Adult Division are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. These programs combined with Aspire and customized, short-term training help prepare students for employment or continued education. Adult learners gain skills, earn industry credentials, and prepare for licensure exams.
