Today, small to medium sized companies compete in a global market that is vastly larger than the United States market and with 95 percent of the world’s population living outside the United States. It is time for companies to explore and benefit from these lucrative global markets. The Ohio SBDC Export Assistance Network serves as the first point of contact for information, resources, referrals and counseling for the new-to-export, expanding businesses and importers.

The Export Assistance Network staff will assist companies by providing free, in-depth and confidential counseling that will:

  • Assess your company’s global readiness
  • Determine your product’s international potential and market share
  • Securing international market research and regulatory information
  • Development of an international business plan
  • International transaction assistance
  • Introduction to federal and state government agencies that provide services and programs to the international companies
  • Networking with service providers
