Community Action Partnership Agency is committed to eliminating poverty and promoting self-sufficiency by providing programs and services for people in the Miami Valley -- Auglaize, Butler, Darke, Greene, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Warren Counties.

Miami Valley Community Action Partnership was established as a nonprofit corporation in December 1964, with the passage of the Economic Opportunity Act. The goal was “the elimination of the paradox of poverty in the land of plenty,” and created Community Action Agencies to focus all available local, state, private and federal resources on empowering low-income people to attain the skills, knowledge and opportunities required to lead more productive lives and become self-sufficient.
